Hours after the Mail's report, a website called Royal Central published an article stating that "French media" were "reporting Prince Philip has died at the age of 95", but didn't specify the source of the reports. People on Twitter were quick to point out that those "reports" didn't seem to exist.

According to a BBC report, Buckingham Palace has confirmed the meeting is not anything to be worried about and is "not about health of Queen or Prince Philip." Panic over.

A rumour that Prince Charles had passed away began when a woman tweeted she'd "overheard a man say Prince Charles might have passed away". Definitely sounds legit.
